For those who have knitted many pairs of basic socks, it's time to take it to the next level.  Not as difficult to knit as they look, this pair will impress even your most jaded office mates when you cross your legs at a business meeting (be sure to hike your pant leg up slightly before sitting down for maximum sock viewing).  They're great knitted up in Opal's many bright colors, too. You'll need double-pointed US 1 or 2 needles or two long circulars if you knit your socks a la Bordhi.
